With storied vintages on both ends, this six-year vertical offers a classic portrait of our Cabernet Sauvignon's balance and graceful ageability.The 1999 vintage offers the first taste of fruit from our hillside vineyards. The 2000 growing season brought cooler weather, and this vintage has matured elegantly. Drinking beautifully now after nearly a decade in our cellars, the 2001 and 2002 vintages feature enhanced fruit flavors from the addition of Petit Verdot. The Cabernets of 2003 and 2004 offer elegant, yet contrasting structures due to their distinctly different growing seasons: 2003 shows round black fruit and a fuller body, while 2004 exhibits cherry notes and vanillin tannins. Both are gorgeous wines that are ready to enjoy now and for the next five years.
