Our 1980 vintage has remarkable, rich color for its age. A lovely backbone of good acidity has kept this beautifully soft wine alive for 30 years. It’s an intriguing, quiet-spoken wine with subtle scents of strawberry rhubarb and elegant flavors of dried cherries and plums. The 750mL-format bottles should be enjoyed now. Magnums are at their peak, and the 3L and 6L formats are ready to open and will certainly appeal to those who enjoy aged wines.
